1996 Kawasaki KX250 KX Carburetor Overbore Ultrasonic Cleaned PWK38 38.5mm
1996 Kawasaki KX250 carb. Ultrasonic cleaned and adjusted! This carb appears to have had a professional overbore with the intake measuring 38.5mm. This work was done prior to my ownership. Having had a 1998 KX250 carb sitting right beside it the bore is clearly larger. Will fit other years but up to you to determine. This is a PWK38 carb. There are many applications from 1990’s this will fit. Again, up to you to determine if it will work for your application. Floats have been set to factory specs. Air and idle screws will need to be adjusted to suit your machine. Carbs are complete unless otherwise noted. All carbs are disassembled and ultrasonic cleaned. Jets and passages sprayed out and jets hand cleaned to confirm unclogged. TPS are not removed or adjusted. Carbs all come from motorcycles being parted out due to blown engines. These are used parts. All Carbs are OEM parts. I do my best to completely clean these carbs. Being said, there may be residual grime that would not come off in the cleaner. Please consider the ultrasonic clean as an added bonus in these auctions. You are paying for the carb. It is highly recommended to flush you gas tank before installing a new carb to prevent clogging jets in your clean carb. I have plenty of feedback elsewhere.
