These carburetors are initially tuned around. Mostly stock to lightly ported engine? Full aftermarket exhaust system? Performance reed valve setup? Open airbox / increased airflow? Approximately sea-level elevation. The dual 28mm setup provides a great balance of throttle response, airflow, and tunability for recreational, trail, dune, and performance Banshee builds. The included VForce 4-style reed valve assemblies feature an aftermarket reed cage design intended to support improved intake response and airflow. Reed Valve Disclosure: These are Chinese-manufactured aftermarket reed assemblies. ? IMPORTANT TUNING NOTE. The installed jetting is a baseline starting point and is not guaranteed to be correct for every engine. Final jetting should always be verified for your exact engine modifications, fuel, exhaust, intake, elevation, temperature, and riding conditions. They will require a reed spacer set to clear the clutch pivot arm, also recommended to use pod filters or you will have to modifiy the length of the area the intake boots sit on, or run an aftermarket metal air box. Verify reed valve fitment, sealing, and proper installation before operating the engine.
